Job summary

Boarhog LLC is seeking a C2 Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Navy’s PEO C4I (PMW-740) at NAVWAR in San Diego, CA. The role covers integration of C2, MDA, Aerostat, UAS, Sonar, and related platforms to form a System of Systems (SoS).

The engineer will work with Case Manager and Lead Engineer across requirements, analysis, testing, production, installation, and budgeting, while presenting briefs to diverse external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience interfacing C4I programs such as C2, MDA, Aerostat, UAS, Sonar, Communications Vehicles, and Microwave Towers is highly desired.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Discipline.
• Minimum three (3) years of professional experience in systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist Case Manager and Lead Engineer in requirements definition, analysis of alternatives, integration, testing, training, production, installation, contracting, budget planning and execution of assigned programs.
• Present briefs to external stakeholders including Combatant Commanders, Joint Services, Security Cooperation, U.S. Government agencies, Industry partners and Partner Nation representatives.

Position Description

The C2 Systems Engineer supports the U.S. Navy's Program Executive Office (PEO) for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) International Program Office (PMW-740) at the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) in San Diego, CA with engineering support to the Egypt Case Manager. The C2 Systems Engineer will support the National Maritime Surveillance System (NMSS) project and other efforts under guidance from the Lead Engineer, and includes working with each Project Lead for multiple disciplines, such as C2, Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA), Aerostat, Unmanned Aerial System (UAS), Sonar, Communications Vehicles, and Microwave Communications Towers to ensure the individual projects can be successfully integrated into a System of Systems (SoS) architecture.

Duties of this position include supporting the Case Manager and Lead Engineer in requirements definition, analysis of alternatives, integration, testing, training, production, installation, contracting, budget planning, and execution of assigned programs. The C2 Systems Engineer shall also present briefs to external stakeholders to include but not limited to Combatant Commanders, other Joint Services, Security Cooperation Communities, U.S. Government agencies, Industry partners, and representatives from the Partner Nation.
