Job summary

GAC Services, part of TurnPoint Services, is seeking a Comfort Advisor to guide homeowners through energy-efficient HVAC decisions in their homes across Maryland. You will meet clients in their homes, assess needs, propose tailored comfort solutions, and educate on energy efficiency while driving sales.

Applicants should have 5+ years of sales experience, strong relationship-building skills, and comfort working in attics or crawlspaces.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of sales experience and proven ability to close deals.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with residential customers.
• Ability to guide customers toward home comfort solutions.
• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and lift objects.
• Stable work history with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to assess HVAC needs and provide tailored comfort solutions.
• Build strong customer relationships by educating clients on products, services, and options.
• Serve as primary contact throughout the project and ensure 100% satisfaction.
• Develop sales proposals that are accurate and transferable to installation.
• Negotiate and close projects to meet budgeted goals.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in ServiceTitan.
• Collaborate with office and installation teams for smooth project execution.
• Use Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and communications.
• Attend meetings and participate in trainings.
• Maintain required licenses or certifications.
• Occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate schedules.
• On-call rotation to support customers.

Role Overview

Comfort Advisor (2025-1049)

Commission: $75,000 - $150,000

• As a Comfort Advisor, you’ll be the trusted guide for homeowners, helping them create a more comfortable, efficient, and safe living environment. You’ll meet with customers in their homes, assess their heating and cooling needs, and design tailored solutions that fit their lifestyle and budget. Beyond presenting system options, you’ll educate homeowners on energy efficiency, system performance, and the benefits of our services—turning your expertise into solutions that truly make a difference in their daily lives, all while providing growth for your income and career.

What You Bring

• You bring at least 5 years of sales experience and a proven ability to close deals, even if HVAC is new to you.

• Collaborate with office and installation teams to ensure smooth, efficient project execution.
• Use Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, documentation, and communications.
• Attend company meetings and participate in product or vendor trainings.
• Maintain any required licenses or certifications.
• Work occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate customer schedules and seasonal demand.
• Maintain professionalism on job sites and while operating company vehicles.
• Participate in the on-call rotation as needed to support customers.
