Chart Industries in Beasley, TX is seeking Level IV Welders to join our fabrication team. You’ll weld, inspect, and repair metal components, interpreting blueprints and specifications to select the proper process. Some positions include leading others and working shifts (day/night).

Level IV Welders: Candidates with a minimum of 15 years of relevant welding experience who successfully pass the 6G TIG and 2G Stick tests may be eligible for a starting rate of $45/hour.

Candidates with fewer than 15 years of experience will be considered for other welder levels, with starting pay based on experience, weld test results, and other job-related qualifications.

• Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques
• Interprets blueprints, specifications,diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process
• Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness
• Performs a variety of highly skilled tasks
• May lead and direct the work of others

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must be able to work inside and outside. Regular exposure to welding debris, heat, cold, dark and bright environments.

REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WHILE IN THE SHOPS
