Job summary

Matrix Service, Inc. in Nederland, Texas is seeking experienced Combo Pipe Welders for refinery maintenance and turnaround projects. You will perform welding on all types of pipe in an industrial construction setting, upholding safety standards and quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate has five+ years in refinery maintenance, current welding certifications (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, or FCAW), and the ability to pass tests and background checks. TWIC card and safety training are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years or more in refinery maintenance, turnaround, or construction experience.
• Current certification in SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW or FCAW.
• Ability to pass Weld Test and background check.
• Current TWIC card.
• Completion of Matrix Service Safety training, Process Safety Management training, and Client/Site specific training.
• Ability to obtain and maintain active status in required drug testing program.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, sit, lift up to 50 lbs, and work at heights.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE.
