Job summary

The Systems Group in Columbus, MS is seeking a Combo Pipe Welder to support day-to-day welding issues and contribute to long-term operations across the country.

Responsibilities include laying out, welding carbon and stainless pipe, reading prints, and working in various positions. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) with match, paid vacation and holidays, and opportunities for continuing education. This role requires 48 hours per week and pays up to $32 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience welding in an industrial setting preferred.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to pass qualification test coupons during pre-employment

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly.
• Weld components such as piping systems, plates, pipes, and tubes per blueprints or procedures.
• Plan installation or repair to avoid obstructions and interference.
• Secure pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
