Job summary

The Systems Group is seeking a Combo Pipe Welder for the Osceola, AR site. You will lay out, weld, and secure piping components, following blueprints and work orders. The role requires ability to weld in multiple positions and read prints with a focus on safety and productivity.

Qualified candidates should pass a pre-employment test and drug screen; OSHA-approved boot compliance is included in the benefits. Competitive pay and per diem are offered for travel-related duties.

Qualifications

• Combo Pipe Welding in an industrial setting is preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment qualification test coupons.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies before assembly.
• Weld components per drawings or instructions using arc welding equipment.
• Plan installations to avoid obstructions and minimize interference.
• Secure pipes to structures with brackets, clamps, and hangers.
• Weld in all positions: flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead.

Location: BRS Shutdown – Osceola, AR

Pay Rate: $32/ Hour $125/Day Per Diem

The Systems Group is looking for an energetic individual to be our next Combo Pipe Welder. We are looking for someone to help with the day-to-day issues that pop up but also to be part of the big picture and contribute to the long-term strategy of our operations across the country. Combo Pipe Welder Job Responsibilities:

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies before assembly
• Weld together metal components of products such as piping systems, plates, pipe, and tube or structural shapes, as specified by layout, blueprints, diagram, work order, welding procedures, or oral instructions, using electric arc-welding equipment
• Plan installation or repair to avoid obstructions and avoid interfering with the activities of other workers
• Secure pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers, using hand tools and power tools
• Weld in any direction – flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions

Combo Pipe Welder Job Skills:

• Must be able to observe and recognize problems during the welding process and adjust the speed, voltage, amperage, or feed of the rod
• Must be able to read and interpret prints and plans
• Must be able to properly use tools
• Must be able to weld both carbon steel and stainless steel pipe
• Must be able to do basic math
• Must be able to make precise measurements
• Use stick, mig, tig, and flux core welding techniques to weld various components in varying positions

Experience and Requirements:

• Combo Pipe Welding in an industrial setting is preferred
• OSHA Approved Met-Guard boots (annual company allowance provided)
• Must be able to weld and pass qualification test coupons during pre-employment test
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
