Job summary

GrayWolf Industrial, Inc. seeks Combo Pipe Welders for our Morgan City, LA site. You will lay out, position, align, and weld piping systems and structural components as specified, in a 12-hour shift environment.

The role requires at least 3 years of pipe welding experience in industrial construction, with OSHA 10 and AWS certifications preferred. You must be able to read prints and pass QA/hydro testing as required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of pipe combo welding in an industrial construction setting.
• OSHA 10 preferred, AWS certified preferred.
• Must have locking tool box and tools necessary to perform the job.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts before welding as specified.
• Weld together metal components such as piping systems, plates, pipes, and tubes.
• Read layouts, blueprints, diagrams, or work orders to determine welding requirements.
• Ensure QA inspection readiness and hydro testing where applicable.
• Work safely around construction site hazards and maintain equipment.
