Job summary

Bechtel is seeking Combination Welders for the Rio Grande LNG project in Brownsville, Texas. These welders will apply technical knowledge and practical welding skills on a day shift schedule.

Ideal candidates are experienced in SMAW or GTAW processes and can pass a pre-employment welding exam. Responsibilities include using conventional tools for welding preparation and cleanup, performing front-line examination against weld acceptance criteria, and adhering to all safety procedures while

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a pre-employment welding examination.
• Technical welding knowledge and practical welding skills.
• Familiarity with SMAW or GTAW welding processes.
• Experience with component installation, fit-up, and alignment.
• Ability to use conventional tools for welding preparation and cleanup.
• Knowledge of weld acceptance criteria and ability to perform front line examination.
• Adherence to all safety procedures.
