Job description

Position: Combat Vehicle Mechanic (SCA) at General Dynamics Land Systems

Join our team at Fort Bragg, NC, and support the SGT Stout program with opportunities to travel to Germany, Oklahoma, or Texas as needed. We are committed to protecting and enabling our service members by delivering innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform maintenance on Stryker platforms, Mission Equipment Packages (MEP), and related equipment.
2. Assist team members with technical issues.
3. Conduct de-processing of Stryker equipment in Poland under USG supervision.
4. Perform quality checks in accordance with check sheets and inspection forms.
5. Familiarize with vehicle operation, preventive maintenance, and organizational procedures.
6. Support USG personnel and promote a safe workplace environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance
• CDL preferred
• 2-5 years of mechanic experience, preferably on tactical or combat vehicles
• Documentation of commercial training or experience acceptable in lieu of military experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
• Ability to work in confined spaces and various environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and deploy as needed
• U.S. person status and ability to maintain US Passport
