Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Material Handler on the west side of Columbus. The role involves accurate handling, storage, and distribution of inventory, with duties including unloading, stocking, labeling, and preparing orders for delivery.

You will operate forklifts and cranes as needed and follow all safety policies. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, basic computer/typing skills, and the ability to learn warehouse processes and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness and ability to learn company, federal, and health and safety regulations.
• Basic computer and typing proficiency.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and business processes.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload materials, inspect items for quality.
• Stock and transfer materials to designated locations.
• Label materials with identifying information.
• Move materials to the shop for modifications.
• Assemble and package orders per customer requirements.
• Prepare orders for delivery using forklifts or cranes as needed.
• Prepare shipment documentation (UPS, LTL, SH, Air shipments).
• Follow safety policies and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe warehouse.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and report hazards.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
