Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a talented intern for our Human Pharma Supply Chain in Columbus, OH. You will support the Materials Management team, help manage US inventory, and assist in S&OP meetings for all US products.

The role offers on-site work with hybrid flexibility of 2–3 days on-site. Ideal candidates are current students in business or supply chain fields, with strong communication and analytical skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing.
• Student must be enrolled for the duration of the intern work assignment.
• GPA 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) preferred.
• Major or minor in business or supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly inventory management and S&OP processes through data analysis and Excel reports.
• Create and manage Excel reports and PowerBI dashboards.
• Support projects for Boehringer portfolio from a supply chain perspective.
• Evaluate AI, Copilot, automation and digital solutions to improve materials management.
• Provide external landscape assessments with summaries and recommendations.
