Job summary

ADM is hiring a Colors Operator for the 3rd shift in Erlanger, KY. This non-exempt position requires adhering to manufacturing, QA, and safety procedures while handling blend tanks and processing equipment. Base pay is $23.00 per hour with overtime and progress opportunities.

You will read and follow manufacturing orders, weigh materials accurately, document QC data, and operate AS400 terminals and scanners. Join ADM and support continuous improvement and compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned blend tank, homogenization, filtration and other equipment according to instructions.
  • Read, understand and follow all manufacturing instructions listed on Manufacturing Orders.
  • Precisely weigh raw materials and intermediates as listed on Manufacturing Orders.
  • Follow QC and sampling procedures. Report QC deviations to Team Leaders.
  • Execute rework and formula adjustments according to QC and formula requirements.
  • Package and sample products according to customer requirements as listed on Order Headers and other documents.
  • Execute all required transactions on the AS400 terminals and hand held scanners.
  • Follow all Kosher, BATF, USDA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Follow ISO 9001/2000, GMP and HACCP procedures to ensure product safety.
  • Contribute to team effort by performing other duties and assignments as required

This is an non-exempt level position.

Position Summary

Shift and hours:

  • 8 hours shifts
Job Responsibilities
  • Operate assigned blend tank, homogenization, filtration and other equipment according to instructionsClean the above equipment and entire work area as assigned (including Master sanitation Schedule)

  • Read, understand and follow all manufacturing instructions listed on Manufacturing Orders

  • Precisely weigh raw materials and intermediates as listed on Manufacturing Orders

  • Follow QC and sampling procedures. Report QC deviations to Team Leaders

  • Execute rework and formula adjustments according to QC and formula requirements

  • Package and sample products according to customer requirements as listed on Order Headers and other documents. Report yield or any other deviations to management

  • Execute all required transactions on the AS400 terminals and hand held scanners

  • Follow all Kosher, BATF, USDA and other regulatory requirements

  • Follow ISO 9001/2000, GMP and HACCP procedures to ensure product safety

  • Contribute to team effort by performing other duties and assignments as required

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely and successful perform the essential job functions consistent with qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards

  • Able to lift 50lbs on a continuous basis throughout an 8-12 hour shift

  • Wear a respirator

  • Able to stand, walk, lift, reach and bend throughout an 8-12 hour shift

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay for this position is expected to be:

$23.00
