Licensed Colorists at Madison Reed Hair Color Bar are essential to our guest promise, delivering quality services and excellent guest care. You love beauty and hair color, and pride yourself on helping guests find the best color for them and executing their service with perfection.

The Madison Reed Licensed Colorist embodies our mantra of "confident is the new beautiful" and is an expert in consultations, hair color, retail products, blowout services, unlimited roots memberships, and building connections with guests and team members to foster a focused, friendly environment. The role requires meeting targets, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting team development. #livelifecolorfully

This role reports to the Manager and can be full or part-time, depending on business needs. Availability during peak times is required to best serve our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Provide consultations and services including shampooing, conditioning, styling, and chemical treatments, ensuring high quality and guest satisfaction.
• Assist guests in selecting suitable products and colors, while being flexible to business needs and punctuality.
• Contribute to achieving sales goals through retail, services, and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and security standards at the Hair Color Bar.
• Follow company protocols and procedures.
• Increase revenue through additional services and product sales.
• Participate in ongoing training and stay updated on Madison Reed products and services.
• Support and mentor Assistant Colorists through coaching and demonstration.

Qualifications:

• Active cosmetology license in the applying state.
• At least 1 year of experience as a colorist in a salon setting.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with point of sale systems.
• Fluent in English.
