This role reports to the Manager, can be full or part-time depending on business needs, and requires availability during peak times to best serve our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate teamwork skills to provide an experience aligned with our values of Love, Joy, Trust, Courage, and Responsibility.
• Provide consultations and all services on the menu, including shampooing, conditioning, styling, and chemical services, to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist guests in selecting the best products and colors, while staying flexible to business needs and maintaining punctuality.
• Contribute to achieving sales goals, including retail, services, and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and security standards at the Hair Color Bar.
• Follow Madison Reed systems, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Increase revenue through additional services, memberships, subscriptions, and product sales.
• Participate in ongoing training and stay updated on products and services.
• Support the training of Assistant Colorists through demonstration and coaching.

Qualifications:

• Active cosmetology license in the state of application.
• At least 1 year of experience as a colorist in a salon environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluent in English.

Physical Demands: Standing, walking, bending, twisting, manipulating fingers/hands, reaching, and occasionally sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to ten pounds. Regular communication with guests is required.
