Qualifications

• High school or GED required. Medical Assistant program with externship preferred.
• Clinical externship (160 hours) or 1 year recent clinical experience accepted.
• Current BLS-C certification by hire or end of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to the exam room and create a welcoming environment.
• Obtain and record accurate medical histories from patients.
• Measure and document vital signs prior to examinations.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures with efficiency.
• Perform a variety of ambulatory clinical tasks as needed.
• Travel at least weekly to alternate office locations (Rochester Hills main; Southfield & Macomb).
