Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Colon-Rectal Surgeon to join Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with dedicated clinic and OR time, and a 1:4 call rotation including weekends.

You will join a collaborative team of five physicians and two APPs, participate in ISQIC, NAPRC studies, and GI research, with opportunities to teach residents and students and to secure a faculty appointment at Carle Illinois College of Medicine.

Qualifications

• BE/BC Colon-Rectal Surgeon with fellowship preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform full spectrum colon and rectal surgery, including IBD and cancer care.
• Collaborate with a team of 5 physicians and 2 APPs.
• Teach General Surgery Residents and medical students; pursue faculty appointment.
• Engage in research opportunities with university partners.
