Job summary

Catholic Health seeks a board-certified colorectal surgeon to join Trinity Medical in the Buffalo region. The role offers APP and anesthesia support, hybrid inpatient/outpatient duties, and access to advanced robotic and endoscopy equipment.

Candidates should have an MD or DO, NY license, completed ACGME/AOA colorectal residency, and be eligible for NYS DEA; new graduates encouraged. Competitive compensation, relocation assistance, CME allowance, and PSLF eligibility are included.

Qualifications

• Must have MD/DO and NYS license with active NYS DEA.
• Completion of accredited ACGME/AOA colorectal residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in colorectal surgery with fellowship.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• BLS/ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Team-building leadership with oncology, digestive health and womens health programs.
• Perform colorectal surgeries using robotic, laparoscopic and minimally invasive techniques.
• Collaborate with surgeons and APPs to manage inpatient care and call coverage.
• Contribute to growth and development of the colorectal surgery service line.
• Engage with primary care networks to support referrals and continuity of care.
