Job summary

Trinity Medical in Western New York seeks a colorectal surgeon to join a multispecialty team within Catholic Health. The role includes APP support, Robotic, laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures, and participation in hospital call and outpatient services.

Qualified candidates will have MD/DO, NY license, and board eligibility/certification in colon and rectal surgery with fellowship. New graduates encouraged to apply; relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) required.
  • Current, unrestricted NYS license or license in progress with active NYS DEA.
  • ACGME/AOA general surgery residency completed.
  • Board eligible or certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery with fellowship.
  • BLS/ACLS certifications.
  • New graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Lead oncology, digestive health and women's health programs with a team-building leadership style.
  • Perform colorectal surgeries using robotic, laparoscopic and minimally invasive techniques.
  • Contribute to high-quality, patient-centered outcomes with a team-oriented approach.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and APPs to manage inpatient care and call coverage.
  • Support growth and development of the colorectal surgery service line.
  • Engage with primary care networks for referrals and continuity of care.

Job description

Key Requirements:


  • Medical Degree either a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)

  • Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA general surgery residency program

  • Board Eligible or Certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery with fellowship

  • New and recent Graduates encouraged to apply
