Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health is seeking a colorectal surgeon to deliver minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic procedures within a multidisciplinary setting. The role emphasizes collaboration with surgeons and advanced practice providers to ensure patient-centered care and service-line growth.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board-eligible/certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery.
• Completion of accredited general surgery residency.
• Fellowship in Colon/Rectal Surgery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform minimally invasive, robotic, and laparoscopic colorectal surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgeons and advanced practice providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Job description

This role involves providing specialized colorectal surgery services within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting supported by advanced technology and a strong referral network.

Key responsibilities include performing minimally invasive, robotic, and laparoscopic surgeries, collaborating with a team of surgeons and advanced practice providers to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care, and contributing to the growth of the colorectal service line.

The position supports inpatient and outpatient care, with access to modern endoscopy, robotic equipment, and AI documentation tools.

Qualifications include a Medical Degree (MD or DO), current NY State licensure or in progress, active NYS DEA certification, completion of an accredited general surgery residency, and board eligibility or certification in Colon and Rectal Surgery with fellowship training.

Ideal candidates are team-oriented, capable of leadership, and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
