Job summary

A well-established healthcare provider in Northwest Indiana seeks a Colorectal Surgeon in Hobart, IN. This full-time role features a Monday–Friday schedule with a 1:6 on-call rotation and a tech-forward environment including EPIC EMR and DaVinci robotics.

You will diagnose and treat colon, rectum, and anus disorders, perform screenings, and lead evidence-based care plans with a focus on work-life balance and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with other specialists.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and surgically treating disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus.
• Clinic patients per day: 20
• Call Rotation: 1:6
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide post-operative follow-up to ensure recovery and outcome tracking.
• Utilize minimally invasive techniques including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery (DaVinci).
• Perform colonoscopies and endoscopies for diagnostics and screenings.
• Manage complex anorectal conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and surgically treating disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus
• Clinic patients per day: 20
• Call Rotation: 1:6
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide diligent post-operative follow-up care to ensure optimal patient recovery and outcome tracking
• Utilize minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery (e.g., DaVinci platform).
• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic screenings, including colonoscopies and endoscopies.
• Manage complex anorectal conditions

Requirements:
