Job summary

RRC Solutions Group seeks a Colorectal Surgeon to join a well-established Northwest Indiana healthcare provider. The role offers a flexible schedule, a 1:6 call rotation, and a focus on physician well-being within a tech-forward environment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and surgically treating colorectal disorders, performing colonoscopies, and using minimally invasive techniques including DaVinci robotics.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in colorectal surgery.
• Aggressive, evidence-based clinical approach with a plan for certification.
• Indiana medical license and CSR/DEA registration required.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation helpful.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and surgically treat disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus.
• Perform pre-operative assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide post-operative follow-up and outcome tracking.
• Utilize laparoscopic and robotic techniques for procedures.
• Conduct colonoscopies and endoscopies as part of care.

Colorectal Surgeon
Job Type : Full-time | Monday - Friday, flexible schedule | 1:6 call rotation
Location: Hobart, IN

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and surgically treating disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus
• Clinic patients per day: 20
• Call Rotation: 1:6
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide diligent post-operative follow-up care to ensure optimal patient recovery and outcome tracking
• Utilize minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery (e.g., DaVinci platform).
• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic screenings, including colonoscopies and endoscopies.
• Manage complex anorectal conditions

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with other specialists
