Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a Doctorate-qualified professional to lead clinical and basic science research projects under the Scientific Director. You will develop study protocols, supervise data collection, and contribute to scholarly manuscripts and presentations.

Required are a Doctorate and graduation from an accredited medical school, with MD/DO or international equivalent. Travel for enrollment activities and a comprehensive day-one benefits package are included.

• MD or DO or international equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Gives seminars under the direction of the Scientific Director or Senior Director.
• Participates in research grant application preparation.
• Occasionally travels for participant enrollment activities.
• Digitizes and catalogues imaging as defined per study protocols.
• Attends and actively participates in research meetings.
• Utilizes clinical knowledge and skills to develop clinical research studies.
• Designs, constructs, and implements research proposals, protocols, and procedures.
• Leads analysis of research data in collaboration with biostatisticians and other research team members.
• Prepares abstracts, scholarly manuscripts, presentations, and final study reports to communicate research results.
• Supervises data collection by research core staff, including clinical operations and oncology.
• Obtains, reviews, and extracts pertinent data elements for clinical studies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

• Established competency in research as evidenced by published (peer reviewed) research and/or prior work experience [Required]
