Job summary

Behr Paint Company is hiring a Paint Mixer/Tinter to read and follow work orders, tint paint to exact colors, and ensure quality throughout the process. You will prepare equipment, log workloads, and verify color accuracy before packaging and shipping final pallets.

The role emphasizes safety, attendance, and a willingness to learn, with a path for growth within the company and a starting rate of $21.50 per hour plus benefits and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to see color and notice minor color differences.
• Excellent attendance. We can’t stress this enough. Tinters are vital to the operation and getting products on shelves.
• A commitment to safety and contributions to a strong safety record are expected.
• Must wear safety glasses while tinting.
• A desire to learn and grow within the company.
• Physical ability to be on your feet all shift and lift up to 75 pounds several times daily.
• Education: high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tint machine and log workload.
• Use pallet jack to pull paint bases from warehouse.
• Follow formulas on computer to fulfill orders and ensure exact color.
• Verify colors match, wrap pallets, and complete paperwork (print BOL).
• Transport finished pallets to designated shipment location.
