Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Part-Time Color Mixer Specialist at Store #2557 in Newberry, SC. You will tint and mix paints, assist retail and wholesale customers, and ensure high-quality product presentation while meeting store sales goals.

Responsibilities include preparing paint orders, stocking shelves, handling deliveries, and processing sales while maintaining accurate records. Prior experience in paint or retail is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have a meeting expectations rating on your most recent performance appraisal.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your current position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customers' paint orders quickly and accurately.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Preparing drawdowns for submittal to customers.
• Clean, fill, and repair equipment, as needed.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in making deliveries, as needed.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
