Job summary

Continental Industry is seeking a Production Lab Technician/Color Matcher for our Quality Lab on a day shift (12-hour), rotating weeks. You will operate and calibrate lab spectrophotometers, maintain color standards, and support color matching for production.

Comply with safety rules in an industrial setting and manage data files. Required is a High School Diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lb, and good English reading/writing skills.

Qualifications

• Must pass Munsell Color Test.
• English reading, writing and comprehension required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for long shifts.
• Experience in a lab manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Basic understanding of quality systems and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform general maintenance on lab spectrophotometers and related testing equipment.
• Calibrate and verify lab equipment according to standards.
• Establish and maintain color standards and data files; manage color matching records.
• Troubleshoot color, hand, and processing issues; implement corrective actions.
• Analyze data to improve processes and provide recommendations.
• Perform COA/COC testing and support the lab production team.
• Maintain a clean, safe manufacturing lab environment.
