Qualifications

• Color vision verified by Farnsworth 46 hue test.
• High school diploma required.
• Color or polymer knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Weigh colorants to tight tolerances; +/-0.01 g accuracy.
• Prepare pigment blends to improve quality or costs.
• Operate lab equipment and judge pass/fail for processing.
• Record color data on QC forms and in the database.
• Condition samples to specified temperatures for tests.
• Maintain lab equipment, utensils and waste containers.
