Job summary

White Settlement ISD is seeking a passionate and energetic High School Color Guard Director to lead and develop the Brewer High School Color Guard Program. Plan and instruct color guard rehearsals, teach fundamentals of dance, movement, equipment, and performance techniques, and choreograph routines for marching band season and other performances.

The ideal candidate has extensive color guard experience, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings and weekends during marching season,

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Color Guard activity as instructor and performer.
• Dance, or other Fine Arts Degree preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends during marching season.

• Plan and instruct color guard rehearsals and performances.
• Teach fundamentals of dance, movement, equipment, and performance techniques.

• Collaborate with the Director of Bands and instructional staff to support the overall success of the band program.
