Florida Gulf Coast University invites applications for an Instructor I to join the department of Integrated Studies as Colloquium Program Director. You will teach a 2-2 load of IDS 3920 University Colloquium, oversee administrative operations of the Colloquium, and work with the chair on budget, scheduling, advising, faculty evaluation and searches, and program assessment and reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a sustainability-related area from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent.
• Proven potential for, or a record of, achievement in teaching undergraduate courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach a 2-2 load of IDS 3920 University Colloquium each Fall and Spring.
• Provide leadership and oversight for Colloquium administrative operations.
• Collaborate with the Chair on budgeting, scheduling, advising, faculty evaluation and searches, program assessment, and reporting.
• Lead curricular and pedagogical leadership to align all Colloquium instructors and adjunct faculty.
• Engage in department, college, and university meetings and participate in assessment and program development.
