Job summary

Universal Technical Institute, Inc. seeks an instructor to deliver manufacturer-specific technical courses to dealer personnel and students across locations.

You will coach, apply technical expertise, and create structured opportunities for learners to build proficiency while collaborating with OEMs on curriculum updates and participating in Train-the-Trainer events. In this role, you will organize lessons, evaluate progress, advise at-risk students, and coordinate with leadership on training

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience as a manufacturer-specific technician or instructor preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to design engaging instructional content for diverse learners.
• Ability to build rapport with students and partners.

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver clear learning objectives and well-paced lessons.
• Test and evaluate student performance.
• Counsel at-risk students using proper documentation.
• Coordinate training with UTI and OEM leadership.
• Support recruitment and placement of MSAT students.
• Develop curriculum with OEMs and service manuals.
• Deliver curriculum through multimedia methods.
• Supervise labs to ensure participation and safety.
