Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Collision/Body Technician (Flat Rate) to join our growing team. The technician will diagnose and repair RV bodies and paint, track parts, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Prior body/paint repair experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred. Certification from a college or technical school in a trade field is helpful but not required, with RVIA certification being a plus.

  • Minimum 1 year service technician experience or related fields preferred.
  • Certification from college or technical school in a trade field is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and document complete diagnostics for repairing RV equipment and structures.
  • Determine best product for repair and customize/repair RV per work orders.
  • Execute work orders and perform body and paint repair.
  • Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area and follow safety procedures.
  • Notify supervisor of progress and ensure final work meets quality standards.

Camping World is seeking a Collision/Body Technician (Flat Rate) to join our growing team. A successful Collision/Body Technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, background in body/paint repair and well-versed in all paint and body repair equipment.What You’ll Do:Provide and document complete diagnostics for repairing recreational vehicle equipment and structures. Determine best product for repair.Customize and repair RV in accordance with work orders. Execute work orders.Perform body and paint repairTrack all parts and materials used in repairs or replacementsKeep supervisor appraised of work progressEnsure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designeeMaintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkersFollows Safety and Hazardous Waste procedures as outlinedPerforms other miscellaneous duties as assigned and performs duties at company established performance levels.What You’ll Need to Have for the Role:Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is certainly helpful but, we also consider applicable work experienceMinimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferredRVIA certification helpful but not requiredValid driver's license preferredMay lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devicesProlonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bendingPotential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipmentEnvironmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetnessGeneral Compensation DisclosureThe pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
