Overview

Camping World is seeking a Collision/Paint Technician to join our growing team. A successful Collision/Body Technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, background in body/paint repair and well-versed in all paint and body repair including fiberglass repair.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide and document complete diagnostics for repairing recreational vehicle equipment and structures. Determine best product for repair.
  • Customize and repair RV in accordance with work orders. Execute work orders.
  • Perform body and paint repair—Fiberglass experience is preferred.
  • Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
  • Keep supervisor apprised of work progress.
  • Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
  • Follows Safety and Hazardous Waste procedures as outlined.
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned and performs duties at company established performance levels.
What You’ll Need To Have For The Role
  • Certification from college or technical school in a trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is helpful; applicable work experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred.
  • RVIA certification helpful but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.
  • May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
  • Potential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment.
  • Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness.
General Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below. Pay Range: $21.42-$53.48 Hourly.
