Job summary

Cochran Collision Center in Columbiana is seeking an experienced Collision Technician to repair vehicles per estimates and manufacturer standards. You will read repair orders, order and verify parts, and prep vehicles for body work.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience as a collision repair technician.
• ICAR or ASE certifications in auto body repair are a plus.
• Ability to read and follow instructions on repair/estimate orders.

Responsibilities

• Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.
• Check parts against estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered and received.
• Prepares vehicles for body repair work.
• Notifies management of any additional repairs needed and documents parts/labor.
• Notifies management of difficulties that may affect quality or promised time.
• Cooperates with other personnel in repair and prepping of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards
• Check parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received
• Prepares vehicles for body repair work.
• Notifies management of any additional repairs needed. Documents additional parts and labor required to perform a satisfactory repair
• Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time
• Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles
• Other duties may be assigned by management
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the #1 Cochran's values in all interactions with customers, team members and vendors

Qualifications

• One or more years related experience as a collision repair technician
• ICAR or ASE certifications in auto body repair is a plus
• Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged vehicles including body work and when to replace or repair partsAbility to read and following instructions on repair/estimate orders required
