Job summary

Cochran Cars is seeking an experienced Collision Technician for our Columbiana Body by Cochran Collision Center. We’re growing and need quality-minded candidates with a strong work ethic to join our team and grow with us.

Responsibilities include repairs per estimate and manufacturer standards, parts checks, and preparing vehicles for body repair. ICAR/ASE certifications are a plus, with opportunities for training and career advancement.

Qualifications

• One or more years related experience as a collision repair technician.
• Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged vehicles including body work.
• Ability to read and follow instructions on repair/estimate orders.

Responsibilities

• Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards
• Check parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received
• Prepares vehicles for body repair work.
• Notifies management of any additional repairs needed and documents parts and labor required
• Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job or cause a change in the promised time
• Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles
• Other duties may be assigned by management
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the #1 Cochran's values in all interactions with customers, team members and vendors
