Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a fully accredited two-year college or technical school.
• Minimum of two years related experience and/or training.
• Work indoors and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Review repair estimates, review parts orders per estimate, and plan work to be performed.
• Read work orders or descriptions of problems to determine repairs or modifications needed.
• Plan work procedures and perform assigned tasks in a timely manner; ensure quality repairs.
• Inspect repaired vehicles for proper functioning, paint quality, and alignment; test drive as needed.
• Sand repaired areas and prepare surfaces for painting; mask and protect from overspray.
• Remove and install vehicle parts or accessories.
• Operate welding equipment and perform proper welding techniques.
• Dismantle equipment for maintenance or repair.
• Align frames and damaged components using hydraulic alignment machines.
• Repair dents and smooth surfaces with fillers, grinding, and sanding.
• Cut materials according to specifications; restore damaged areas with resins.
