Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking an experienced collision repair technician in Port St Lucie, FL. You will disassemble vehicles, assess damage with estimators, and execute repair plans to restore structural integrity and finish.

The role requires 2-3 years of collision repair experience and a valid driver’s license, with strong teamwork and safety focus. You'll work with a supportive team, follow SOPs, and participate in quality checks and test drives to ensure customer satisfaction and industry

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicle to assist collision estimators in preparing a 100% repair plan.
• Ensure repairs identified to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedure according to work order.
• Remove upholstery and parts to access damaged area; store parts to prevent damage.
• Mend damaged body panels; weld/replacement parts and reassemble after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools including welder and spray guns.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before paint.
• Inspect and test drive vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Comply with all standard operating procedures and safety rules.
