Job summary

Texas Collision Centers Inc. seeks an experienced collision repair technician to assess, diagnose, and repair mechanical and structural issues arising from vehicle accidents.

You will diagnose steering, suspension, cooling, A/C, and drivetrain problems, perform mechanical disassembly/reassembly, and execute bodywork with required welding and frame straightening. Collaboration with estimators, painters, and parts departments is essential to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Proven automotive repair experience.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and use diagnostic equipment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and PPE.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Ability to work under time pressure in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess collision-damaged vehicles for mechanical and structural issues.
• Diagnose and repair steering, suspension, cooling, air conditioning, drivetrain, and other systems.
• Perform mechanical disassembly/reassembly and identify hidden damage, communicating findings to the repair team.
• Execute bodywork repairs such as dent removal, panel replacement, frame straightening, and welding when required.
• Coordinate with estimators, painters, parts, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Follow manufacturer repair procedures, OEM standards, and workplace safety protocols.
• Proven communication of findings to the repair team and verification of system operation after repairs.
• Commitment to quality and safety standards.
