Job summary

Texas Collision Centers Inc is seeking a skilled collision repair technician to inspect and repair mechanically and structurally damaged vehicles. You will diagnose steering, suspension, cooling, drivetrain and body system issues, perform mechanical disassembly/reassembly, and execute bodywork as needed to restore vehicle integrity.

Qualifications

• Proven automotive mechanical repair experience.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues with diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of steering, suspension, drivetrain, cooling, and body systems.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess collision-damaged vehicles for mechanical and structural issues.
• Diagnose and repair steering, suspension, cooling, AC, drivetrain and other systems.
• Perform mechanical disassembly/reassembly and identify hidden damage.
• Execute bodywork repairs such as dent removal, panel replacement, frame straightening, welding.
• Conduct diagnostic testing and verify system operation after repairs.
• Coordinate with estimators, painters, parts and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean, organized and safe condition.
• Follow manufacturer repair procedures, OEM standards and safety protocols.
