Wright GMC is seeking a skilled Collision Center/Body Shop technician to restore vehicles after collisions and manage repair planning in a quality-conscious environment.

You will assess damage, decide on repair vs. replacement, perform repairs efficiently, and collaborate with teammates while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Collision Center / Body Shop is required.
• Familiar with body repair processes and insurance handling.
• Willing to undergo background and driving checks.

Responsabilités

• Ensure customer needs are met with quality and efficiency.
• Restore a vehicle back to its original and operational condition after a collision.
• Decide on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost and cycle time.
• Perform quality repairs in a timely manner.
• Work and communicate with others on vehicle repair status.
• Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
• Understand and comply with regulations affecting operations (hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure customer needs are met with quality and efficiency
• Responsible for restoring a vehicle back to its original and operational condition after a collision
• Make decisions on repairing or replacing pieces while taking into consideration safety, cost and cycle time.
• Perform quality repairs in timely manner.
• Work and communicate with others on vehicle repair status.
• Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
• Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect departmental operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a Collision Center / Body Shop is REQUIRED
• Previous experience and working knowledge of body repair and insurance processes
• Must be willing to submit to a background & driving screen prior to employment
• Must have tools
