Job summary

The Boyd Group in Cleburne, Texas is seeking a diligent Porter to support collision repair operations. You will pre-wash and clean customer vehicles before and after repairs, and help maintain both office and production areas for a safe, organized shop environment.

Responsibilities include supporting the WOW plan, vehicle movement to sublet locations, and keeping interiors and exteriors tidy. A High School diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required; automotive experience is

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED preferred.
• Ability to multitask.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Clear close vision required.
• 18 years or age or older.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs

Job Description: Gerber Collision & Glass - Cleburne, Texas 1 year prior experience in collision automotive detailing/porter duties preferred The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.
