Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in McMinnville, OR is seeking a Manager in Training to learn the WOW Operating Way and become an expert in our collision and glass services. You will rotate through CSR, Parts Coordinator, and Estimator roles, completing role-based certifications and onboarding to drive exceptional customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Complete CSR role-based certification and perform CSR duties for weeks.
• Complete Parts Coordinator role-based certification and duties for weeks.
• Complete Estimator role-based certification and duties for months.
• Must complete RBC for each position in the shop.
• Finish GM onboarding and demonstrate WOW knowledge.

Job Description

Managers in Training are responsible for learning to be experts on Gerber Collision & Glass' processes and every positions’ responsibilities in the WOW Process while WOWing every customer and striving to be the best.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Take the CSR Role Based Certification and successfully perform the duties of a CSR for several weeks to ensure knowledge of the CSR role.
• Take the Parts Coordinator Role Based Certification and successfully perform the duties of Part Coordinator for several weeks to ensure knowledge of the Parts Coordinator role.
• Take Estimator Role Based Certification and successfully perform the duties of an Estimator for several months to ensure knowledge of the Estimator role.
• Must successfully complete the RBC (role based competencies) for each position in the shop.
• Complete the GM Onboarding program and demonstrate knowledge of the WOW Operating Way.

Education And/or Experience Required

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• College or Military background preferred.
• Automotive technical education training preferred.
• Completed courses specializing in repair procedures.

Compensation Details

$68,000 - $98,000 / Year

Supplemental Pay

Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience. This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
