Job summary

Courtesy Chevrolet Inc. is seeking an experienced Collision Estimator to join our team in California. The role involves inspecting vehicles, evaluating repairs, communicating with insurance, and creating detailed cost estimates with parts and labor.

You will manage multiple repairs, maintain customer communication, and ensure quality checks from start to finish. We value detail-oriented professionals with strong estimating knowledge and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience with auto insurance estimating requirements and direct repair programs.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Working knowledge of estimating systems and related processes.
• Strong sales orientation is desired.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for damages and evaluate using visual inspection, road tests, and information provided by the customer.
• Evaluate necessity and cost of repairs.
• Communicate with insurance after reviewing damage.
• Discuss damages with customer, repair process and timeline and costs.
• Create accurate estimates that breaks out costs (parts, labor, etc.).
• Create work orders detailing all elements of repair.
• Maintain communication with customer and answer questions as needed.
• Keep records of repair details and complete necessary paperwork.
• Effectively manage multiple repairs simultaneously.
• Implement an effective quality check process upon completion.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Ordering, checking parts, taking quality photos.
