Job summary

ABRA Auto Body – Faribault, MN is seeking an experienced Collision Estimator to join a top-performing, newly renovated shop. You will prepare accurate estimates, educate customers about the repair process, and work closely with insurance adjusters and internal teams.

The role emphasizes craftsmanship, timely updates, and adherence to ABRA playbooks, with room for growth in a leading auto body network. Competitive salary and commissions offered.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years prior experience as a collision estimator or insurance appraiser
• Damage analysis experience on hybrid vehicles, restraint systems, electrical systems, hail/theft/vandalism
• Proficiency using Mitchell or CCC-1 estimating software
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• I-CAR training or other industry training preferred
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• High school diploma required
• Mon–Fri 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate, comprehensive repair estimates by examining and analyzing vehicle damage
• Educate customers on repair process, insurance claims, timelines, and expectations
• Follow the ABRA playbook to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency
• Collaborate with insurance adjusters, dealerships, fleet partners, and internal production teams
• Provide timely repair status updates and maintain communication and trust
• Ensure every repair meets high standards of quality and craftsmanship
