Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Port Richey, FL is seeking an Estimator to deliver an outstanding customer experience while creating vehicle repair estimates and coordinating repair needs with customers and insurers throughout the process.

The Estimator assesses damage, documents repairs, and participates in daily production walks with the team. Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; I-CAR training and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience in estimating or collision repair
• Must be willing to complete I-CAR Training

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer experience and create accurate estimates for vehicle repairs
• Coordinate repair needs with customers and insurance companies throughout the process
• Document and communicate repair details and progress to customers and team
• Ensure compliance with DRP requirements and internal processes
• Participate in daily production walks and team meetings
• Assist and support team members as needed
• Attend trainings and information sessions as recommended by management

You control your future.Job Description:The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
