Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Estimator in Bolivar, MO to accurately assess vehicle damage, document required repairs, and prepare repair estimates. You will communicate with customers and insurance companies to ensure a smooth repair process and alignment with KPIs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, knowledge of OE guidelines, basic computer skills, and at least 1 year of experience. I-CAR training and a valid driver’s license are required or pursued.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills required for daily tasks.
• Compliance for DRP’s is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred.
• Willing to complete I-CAR Training.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Document and update customer interactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide accurate information guiding customers through the repair process.
• Coordinate repair needs and communicate with insurance companies.
• Participate in production walks with management.
• Attend health & safety and staff meetings as required.
• Support team members and adapt to changes as needed.

You control your future.Job Description:The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
