Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Albany, GA is seeking an Estimator to provide an outstanding customer experience by accurately assessing vehicle damage and preparing repair appraisals. You will coordinate repairs and communication with customers and insurance companies throughout the process.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of experience, I-CAR training, and a valid driver's license. Excellent computer skills and teamwork are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of vehicle repairs and OE guidelines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• I-CAR training preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in auto body estimating or DRP environments.

Responsibilities

• Document customer interactions accurately and update records.
• Provide customers with accurate information and guide them through the repair process.
• Coordinate repairs and communicate with insurance companies and customers.
• Ensure compliance with DRP requirements and WOW operating guidelines.
• Participate in daily production walks and team meetings as required.

You control your future.Job Description:The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
