OPENROAD ALLARD COLLISION LLC in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Discovery Technician to inspect vehicles for collision damage and support accurate repair planning. You will act as a bridge between disassembly and estimation, ensuring every applicable damage is documented for safe, cost-effective repairs.

As a Discovery Technician you will collaborate with estimators and body technicians, perform detailed inspections, and help streamline the repair process with precise documentation and strong attention

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of collision repair experience.
I-CAR Certification in body repair and welding preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
Strong ability to analyze repair data and measurements.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform quality vehicle repairs as outlined on repair orders in line with manufacturer and industry standards.
Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair progress and requirements.
Complete welding, frame/unibody alignment, body panel repairs, and cosmetic work.
Operate frame machines and other shop equipment safely and efficiently; follow all safety protocols, including PPE.
Conduct Quality Control (QC) inspections upon completion of work.
Mix chemicals and materials per manufacturer specifications.
Adapt to a blueprint-style production model—you may not disassemble vehicles personally.
