Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking an Assistant Coach for Men's Tennis to support a high-performance collegiate program. You will contribute to design and delivery of training, player development plans, match prep, and scouting while mentoring student-athletes to promote academic achievement and athletic excellence.

You will also handle travel, equipment, budgets, scheduling, and analytics, working with athletic training, conditioning, compliance, and communications staff to ensure NCAA and institutional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related area.
• 1-3 years playing or coaching at the collegiate or professional level.
• Knowledge of NCAA/NAIA rules and scouting/recruiting practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver training sessions and player development plans.
• Lead match preparation and competitive strategy; scout opponents.
• Mentor student-athletes to promote academics, growth, and athletic excellence.
• Coordinate team travel, equipment inventories, budgets, and reimbursements.
• Schedule facilities and maintain records; collaborate with athletic training and compliance.
