Job summary

Dartmouth College is seeking an Assistant Equestrian Coach to assist the head coach in planning, coaching, recruiting, and promoting the equestrian program. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and have 3-5 years of experience at the collegiate level.

This role entails conducting team practices, providing care for the horses, and ensuring compliance with NCAA regulations. Candidates must have a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lift and handle equipment and horses.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience competing and/or coaching at the NCEA collegiate / 3’6” level.
• Ability to operate vehicles and tools as needed.
• Must be able to lift/pull/push up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach in conducting team practices and competitions.
• Demonstrate interest in the welfare of each student-athlete.
• Assist in caring for the horses and maintaining their training plans.
