Job summary

Claremont McKenna College's CMS Athletics, Physical Education, and Recreation Program seeks a qualified Athletic Trainer to support student-athletes and staff in a dynamic liberal arts setting in Claremont, CA.

The role involves supervising the athletic training room, coordinating rehabilitative and preventive care under the Associate Athletic Director, and ensuring compliance with NCAA, SCIAC, OSHA, HIPAA, FERPA, and college policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or related field is required.
• BOC certification is required and in good standing.
• Experience in collegiate setting is preferred.
• CPR/First-Aid certification is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for travel or vehicle use.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising the athletic training room operation.
• Develop rehabilitation and conditioning programs for student-athletes.
• Collaborate with coaches, team physicians, and strength staff.
• Maintain student-athlete health/injury records and compliance documents.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA, SCIAC, OSHA, HIPAA, FERPA and college policies.
