Job summary

Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide comprehensive athletic training services under physician supervision for student athletes, in accordance with state practice acts. The role emphasizes injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and coordination with coaches, family, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications include a degree in athletic training, BOC certification, PA licensure, and strong communication; on-site position with benefits

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field (e.g. Exercise Science or Kinesiology)
Completion of an Accredited Athletic Trainer Curriculum
Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment
Current Licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the State of Pennsylvania or PA licensure requirements (BOC certification included)

Responsibilities

Assesses, manages, treats, rehabs and reconditions athletes.
Observes the domains of Athletic Training established by the BOC.
Performs basic direct patient care activities in physician offices or therapy settings.
Educates athletes on injury prevention and wellness through exercises, modalities, and prevention taping/bracing.
